What does Canada have to offer aside from maple syrup, hockey, and a superior health care system? BASS and lots of it. The Killabits are only one example of the many DJ/producers coming out of our neighbor to the north, and they're coming with quite a bang. This duo from Toronto is made up of Sam KBz and Biz Davis who, after releasing numerous mixes on the interenet in 2010, signed with leading dubstep record label Play Me Records to release their first EP, titled 'Hard Feelings', back in April. Now they're teaming up with artists like Zeds Dead and taking the electronic scene by storm. Their gritty bass lines make The Killabits stand out in the scene while their music spans across the genre. Below are a few tracks that should help you get acquainted with them before their debut performance in SLO this Saturday at The Graduate, opening for Figure.
