Like this photo of black coasters (remember when you could actually touch music?) I've been a little behind the times when it comes to recent EP releases. To make up for this I've decided to bring together three EP's that I was the most excited about.
First off is Zeds Dead's 'Adrenaline EP'. I'm sure most of you are are no strangers to this Canadian electro duo now that they've rocked SLO so hard it registered on the Richter Scale. This new EP serves as another example of Zeds Dead's refusal to conform to the rest of the EDM scene. The tracks share elements of dubstep, electro, and moombah, fused with that special musical sauce that makes Zeds Dead so unique. I continuously attempt to classify them within the EDM world, but any fan can agree that Zeds Dead is just, well, Zeds Dead.

Second we have Skrillex's much anticipated 4th EP titled 'Bangarang' after one of the included songs. Many of the tracks have been floating around the web prior to this release but, as always, Skrillex tweaked them for their official release. He also included an official version of the original Ruffneck Bass (now titled Kyoto) that first got leaked online last year. I was especially excited to get a finished copy of this track because the original was lost when Skrillex's laptops/hard drives were stolen last year. All in all I think it's another impressive release from one of the most followed artist on the scene right now.

And finally, for all of you that like it filthy, Helicopter Showdown and partner in crime SLUGGO are never ones to dissappoint. Their new collaborative EP titled 'I Want It All' brings with it the gritty basslines and hard drops that has made the combination of Helicopter Showdown and SLUGGO a popular one. Haven't heard of either of these guys? Well let this be a lesson in grimey music with a dash of moombah to keep things interesting.
